Followed the link to your ride, lots of curves and wide open roads looks like loads of fun.... what caught my eye was your Bandit 1200. I swear, I need a sport bike (no room in the garage) like I need a hole in the head, but that Bandit caught my eye. Thanks for the pics

New to ADV.

This was my 10th season riding. Started on an '80 GS450L way back when, I ride a BMW R1100S these days. Bought the beemer used at 28K miles 3 years ago, just turned the clock over to 60K a few weeks ago. Love that bike.

Gear?

I have a question that maybe some of you can answer. I am a bigger girl (size 18/20 depending on cut) and was wondering if you know of some good places to get cute gear. I'm tired of buying guy stuff

even NOObier...

It's so cool to see so many women riders! Are there any dual sport entusiasts out there? I ride a DRZ400S. Ok... this may be a dumb question and I'm sorry if this offends anyone but I honestly do not know... can your bigger bikes.. like the BMW's and such go off road say on rough terrain?

Hi moongirl!

I take my F650GS on some rough terrain (small rocks, easy river crossings, etc). I like my XT225 on that stuff better, though, since I can pick up the XT much more easily.

Hi moongirl!

There are many talented women riders here. I'm not one of them, but I do like to take my big bike on dirt. Easy dirt. And through mud puddles.

I've heard several gals say that MotoGear in Colorado has a gal (I can't remember her name) that is great at helping gals with gear.

I'm bigger too and wear mostly guy's stuff so far. Grew up wearing all my brother's hand me downs, so guess I'm kinda used to it.
