Good moto service guy in Colorado Springs

I've had a few PM's asking me for info, so I figured I'd start a thread.

A bunch of us have used this guy and he does great work. I'm not affiliated in any way except that I enjoy his company, since he's a local I figured I'd make a post here in Rockies.

Jeff is a factory trained wrench on Honda, Kaw, Suz, Yamaha, and KTM. He has the tools to do any and all work you might want done, I've had him do crank-up rebuilds, 4-stroke valve jobs, LC8 water pump rebuilds, and so on numerous times, all with outstanding results. He's also up for simple stuff- fork seal replacements, accessory installation, troubleshooting oddball problems, etc. There is not much you can throw at him that he can't handle, even from brands not listed above.

He charges $45 an hour, and unlike all the dealerships, charges for the time he actually spends. This has two advantages to you- cost savings (that's a low rate and jobs are always quicker than the book rate), and second, his incentive is to get things right instead of doing them as fast as possible. He's efficient, but thorough in other words. You're welcome to bring your own parts.

The reason I like working with Jeff is he'll tell you how it is, and is willing to advise on what's worth doing or not. He's conscientious and careful, two words I would not apply to any big dealership I've ever dealt with.

Anyway, if you've got a job you need help with, you can reach Jeff at seven 1 nine, 3 three seven, 9 double zero 8.

I will second everything Ned just said about Jeff.
Ned told me about Jeff a month ago, so I had him rebuilt my 450exc engine that I destroyed. It now runs like a champ. It was also done within about 4 days after he received the parts he needed.

I've known Jeff for years. Great guy. He did water pump seals and valve adjust on my KTM 950. Reasonably priced and gets it right the first time. Highly recommended.

He's still there during the summer in sales. He's on his own during the winter.

Are you looking for a revalve, or for help getting sag, etc, correct?

If the former, depending on the bike, a good guy is Neil Hores of Hitchcock Industries. If the latter, I'm sure Jeff can help.

Mike Schweizer at Supertune. 303.495.3290. Suspensions are a speciality of his. Great mechanic who was an electrical engineer before he finally gave in to working with bikes full-time. In addition to being competent, he is genetically incapable of screwing people. An excellent combination.
