That new Explorer is starting to tempt me... if the new lc gs does not add some serious power and keep the weight down I may actually change my stripes!

I rode a new 1200 Explorer today at the dealers while I was waiting for a few "put 'er to bed" parts. WOW. I was impressed. After reading comments all over the board on that bike I was NOT expecting it to be so nice. VERY nimble and a simply fantastic motor. I'm still amazed how light the bike feels on it's feet.

I hoping to get an explorer soon. Do the crash bars hold the bike up enough to protect the shifter and brake?
