Absolutely P 1 5 S ING down here today, think I'll do some work on the Tenere, install some pivot pegs and drink some beer............

With 8 hours left of the day in the shed that's either a lot of work on he Tenere or a lot of beer.....

Well, has anyone got any pics of their bikes with the stickers fitted??

This thread lives on Pics of Scrappers, or any bike coming for that matter

Who will ever forget this little beast

progress......

Sorry Pezz, mines still got the stickers from SAR 2 & 3......

Yesterday I collected my modified steering stem and pressed the bottom triple clamp back on. Couldn't get the bearings as there isn't a bearing shop open in Singleton on a saturday morning (go figure, 25 open cut coal mines up the road and nowhere to get a bearing on the weekend) So today I fitted up the new front end to my scrapheap bike. Its just a mock fit-up to see what fits, what doesn't. So far so good. The fork legs don't foul the tank, the trailing edge of the guard will need a little modifying. The stance and rake seem OK (I like it anyway ) but will change a bit when I get all the weight of the bike onto the suspenders. I don't have a sidestand as yet,I'll need to cut and shut a spare one to make it fit so in the meantime the bike is hanging from the shed roof.

I wrote a list of "stuff to do" for the bike today, alarmingly long, but many small jobs so not too daunting. Anyway, here's a cuppla pics, courtesy of Pezz's Smugmug account. Note the look of ambivalence on the face of Buck the Wonderdog (chief workshop supervisor).....
