FORE! racing the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Germany
Hey guys!
I am not a huge ADVRider participant, rather more of a lurker. I have appreciated spectating with all of you - watching our heroes participate in events like Dakar and others. Each year, the US sends about 30 racers to the ISDE to do battle with the World's Best OffRoad Racers. I am happy to announce that I qualified to represent the US this year in Germany! The event is 6 days long (duh) and the organizers put everyone thru the meanest terrain available, looking for attrition. This will be my 3rd ISDE. My first was in Slovakia in 2005, I earned a Bronze medal. My second was Chile in 2007 and I earned Silver. This year...... well, lets not jinx it. With a little help from my sponsors, I've got a great way for you to participate in the ISDE with me this year. T-shirts, daily direct emails, great discounts on gear, and a chance to win a full set of Riding Gear from Klim! Please take a look and PM me, or email me at pinned2win@hotmail.com for details on packages. We can accept cash, check, paypal, or credit card. ![]() ![]() THANKS!!! Scott Bright |

Ok, I'm back! Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers! Dumb crash in day 4, climbing a hill and tagged a tree and fell backwards. Something popped, it didnt feel good. My back was kind of grinding as i rode. I pulled in to the next check and had the medics look. They immediately loaded me up and headed for the hospital. CT scan showed 2 broken ribs and a broken spinal process in one of the vertebrae. And a small portion of the lung burst. They kept me for 24 hours and rescanned. Nothing was worse so I talked them into letting me go.
I've got better things to do than waste away in a hospital. Thanks again for everything! Scott
