With her minor "damp" exception, the lady can definitely handle her SMT! Many (me included) were pressed to keep up with her!

No doubt about it, and what a great attitude. Super cool people, her and her husband.

Woohoo! The Thor gloves came in the mail and they uh....fit like a glove....

And yeah man, Puddles was a good sport! How many of us can say we got a new nickname in front of a few hundred of our closest friends?

Laugh this thread needs pics from the tourist....

first of all, thanks to ktm for putting this fantastic event. my first time attending and it left me a good impression and long lasting memories.

all the people i met are great. reacquainted with old friends and met a lot of new ones.

it's a long way from home to steamboat springs...took me a day 1/2.......on pavement and in the rain. though i can ride my carburated 640e from home, prefer not because of the high altitude and not getting enough vacation days.

friday morning on my way to the event

the venue

it was early and wet, i'm one of the many eager to get there

red bull was there and we were assured of plenty of free drinks for all

place still looks empty. because of the storm, i became doubtful if many will make it.

the 1190s are kept dry

rally bikes

kurt casseli's

the 2 hard working christies, and one of those awards will be mine.....hahaha

made a connection

kurt likes my camera

fellow riders

we were rolling

scenic backroad

there were about 20+ riders and we have to regroup

up front our leader

tourist meets the pros

more later

Very nice pictures, Joel. Looking forward to seeing some more when you get a chance.

When you were receiving your Tourist award, someone at my table was trying to explain how you had your camera set up? I assume it was in or attached to your vest? They said it allowed you quick access on the go to take the photos. I'm curious if you could tell us (show us) your set up?

made by key-bak. some places sell it for $15 - $27. it has a kevlar chord and been through more than 5K cycles......... bought mine from grainger.

it's a very good set up, safe, quick and easy. it may not work with heavier cameras.

good day of riding

finally, let's see some dirt

i am getting spoiled in having an official ktm sweep....hahaha

kurt was wondering how i got in front of them???

i can't resist getting one for myself

much needed break

on open roads, hard to keep up with the big bikes

we have to slow down when seeing homes

after 97 miles, back where we started...just a little muddy

great job jimmy

jimmy lewis was there too doing a demo and an off road class. caught some pics at the parking lot.

here's a tough one, jimmy is trying to park the bike on a small piece of 2x4

later in the day, jimmy did a demo on fixing a flat tire

for reading this rr, as a bonus, you get to know what jimmy has in his tool roll.
