1990 Yamaha XT600Z Tenere, my new ride

So I have had love for this model since I was 16 and hade a 125, now finally some 25 year later I buoght one. A more or less a project as I got it for a price. It has 72k kms in the clock, cosmetically quit sund, some rust on the wheel spokes as some bolts, faded fanders but tank is ok as faring thro the faring subframe is some bent and the faring does not line up correctly to the tank. It the model whit the big oilcooler, that I been reading is good in the warm deserts, but bad in a cold climate, like where I live, as the oil then never get operation temp. I gues its also a reason why the cylinder seem work, enough so it push oil thro the breather horse when reving the engine. So I guess I have a engine opening ahed.

What I wounder is how long does these engines hold up, oil pumps, cranks and so on. Ide to do a bigger opening aside top end?
Some pics from seller add, taken a year ago.
