Hey, just wondering if anyone could confirm the dates for the 2013 Condo 750? Cheers.

Nothing officially announced to my knowledge.
I would keep the 29th - 31st March handy just in case.

I'm planning on being there too, on my trusty WR250R, modified slightly with the lessons learnt on this years Safari.
As a bit of a guide for a Condo newbie, is the Condo generally faster or more technical than the Safari? Stage distances? Do you need a service crew to meet you between specials, or does the course return to the bivouac during the day? Any info would be great, thanks.

I can't comment vs the Safari but I think the longest stage last year may have been 170ish km, you only return to the bivouac/show ground at night but each days lunch was at the same spot, ie if you have a crew the can meet you there. Last year they also did a fuel drop each day half way through a stage.
I luckily had my old man follow me around last year (he got a 'service crew' sticker for his ute which he was pretty chuffed about) but with the in stage fuel drops I could have made it (fuel wise) without support. I'm sure if your bike is kitted for the safari you'll have no issues at Condo. Cheers

You do need a service crew to carry fuel for you as the service stops are out on the course away from camp.
When I get round to it i'll ask the organisers if maybe they could carry fuel for people who don't have a service crew. Might make life easier for some people. I'm not sure how it compared to the safari, hopefully i'll find out in a year or two. |

With the later date for Condo, do we have any word on the dates for the Yilgarn Rallye?

That's what I was thinking.
Easter was perfect, but I doubt I could get time of do it any other time of the year even if I really wanted to. Strange move on there part.

They might have changed the date so they could use transponders.

Home page has been updated;
http://www.condo750.com.au/ Looks like they've moved the scrutineering to later on the Friday and the prologue to Saturday morning. That's probably better for people making the drive out there on the Friday.
