I was so excited on my first and only Condo I forgot to use the rollbook for the first day.

Thats what its all about to me anyways and some high lighted bits have some interest too.

What maintenance work are planning on doing? Air filter of course. Oil & filter? Rotate tyres & lube mousse?

How much black top is there typically?

One air filter change and lube the chain and she's good to go

So looks like I may need to look for a little help here after all.

The signs are not good.

SWMBO last night: 'do you know this place is 460km away .. that's a lot of driving for a weekend' ... how are you going to get to the starting line every day at 0700 ... does this mean I have to get up at 0600' ... 'I really hate sitting in the dust for hours on end waiting for you to show up' ... ' could you not do this without us' ...

Not good at all.

Got worse when I looked up Condobolin on Google to try & see what entertainment I could offer. Looks like the Condo 750 is THE event of the year ...

You could ask just about any of the other bike crews to on the Friday night, everyone is very helpful. My dad is tagging along as crew again this year, we can help you out if needed.

Yes that's what I'll do. Might try to find someone approx my speed after the prologue.

It is a good idea to find someone close to your own pace.

There is normally a mid morning service meet up and then a lunchtime meet up and it's likely a service crew could be late for lunch if there waiting to long at mid morning service.

But everybody is always willing to help out just ask.

I rekon this is a great idea, send me the dimentions and i'll make em up for anyone who wants one for a fair price. I got the tools ,skills ,time and the space.
I'll be doing my first condo this year , just paid my entry the other night and the other half is back up crew.

If Gimme2 rides to his ability he will not only finish, he'll be in at least the top 20, if not 10.

And I'm talking if he was riding a 990 Adv fully loaded with panniers etc.
