R1100GS Headlight Up-Grade Kit "TLA1100" *New, lower price!*

The official vender thread for the TLA1100, as chronicled in this thread from
"GSpot" http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=942571

I currently have...
20 kits with running lights @$275 (+15 shipping) (Was $425)
21 kits without running lights @$225(+$15 shipping) (Was $350)

I'll refund the full shipping if the purchaser posts a pic of their bike showing the kit installed here or any of the other R1100GS specific threads on ADV...

Note that this price does not include the Truck-Lite headlight itself, which must be purchased separately. Currently the Truck-Lite is selling on eBay for $180 w/free shipping.

Kit comes with a 90 day money back warranty and 1 year parts guaranty.
On these first 50 kits I'll pay return postage on your kit if not completely satisfied.

I believe, without a doubt, you will consider it one of the best upgrades you've ever added to your bike.

PM me for ordering info.

Shipping to California residence...

Please add 9.00% sales tax!

Non running light TLA1100 =$22.50
Deluxe TLA1100=$29.25

Sorry, but the Ca. Franchise Tax Board is "Gestapo-like" in their methods...

Hi CG,
Just wanted to let you know the kit arrived in perfect shape(nice packing job, BTW) and I just came in from installing. Everything went very smoothly - instructions were great, and the quality/precision of the parts is fantastic. The whole thing took about 45 mins.
And bright -- holy cow! It just got dark and this thing really lights 'em up. I have to adjust the aim point, but the amount of light pouring out of this has to be at least 2x what the stock setup did. I'll have to use it for several night rides to tell for sure, but it may be good enough that I can re-think my auxiallary lighting as this may be adequate all by itself.
I'll post again after some testing . . .. I'm going riding now.
Thanks again for making a quality product that fills a real need for the old 1100!
Cheers
Dave

Glad you like it Dave,

Wait till you do a proper adjustment on the aim. When the whole freeway lights up, shoulder to shoulder- or tree line to tree line...you'll change that opinion of twice as bright to 10 times brighter than stock!
Thanx also for your kind comments on fit and build quality...the goal was Mil-Spec quality, to match the Truck-Lite.
Question, how is the scatter guard working? Is your cockpit getting any spill?

Hi CG

I got mine installed as well. Took me about the same amount of time to install... about 45 mins. Haven't had a chance to ride at night with it yet, but even during the day, i can tell by the reflection off of the cars and the road signs, that this adds significant LUMENS in front of my old girl... What a great addition!

I may have to adjust the light downward a bit, but I'm very happy to finally be able to see with just the headlight.

Remember to adjust low beam only. Follow the directions and it'll be perfect!
It may take a couple nite rides to tweak it to your personal preference...then you'll start thinking to yourself.. "Those new bikes wish they had headlights this good!"
R1100GS FTW BABY!

Hi I'm confused about how to place my order?
I believe the latest price posted is $225, can't recall if that includes shipping?

I'm in 80122 zip - Colorado.

PayPal?

Can you please send me info on payment / ordering?
Thanks!
Bart
