Exhaust Guard for 800 GS??
Does anyone know of an exhaust guard for the 800 GS??
There is a spot behind the stock plastic heel guard on the bike that keeps burning my new Klim pants...........

I feel you, it did the same to my rallye pants. There is not an aftermarket guard built specifically for the bike. I plan on making one out of carbon fiber, which may take a while because I am not home.
Besides this perhaps a universal guard. It is slim pickings for that area. |

Ask Klim about shielding the pants. Some MC rain suits have a black material sewn onto the inside of the pant legs that doesn't burn or melt. GH

That thing might work far back on the 8GS. Personally I would not trust their product up the header, but back there I think they would hold up ok...

I think there are enough demand for a mould, and mass produce. I burnt pants before the arrow, came along, and I think it is an issue on the GS...... enough to make a mould, and hack away.....

Check out Black Dog Cycle Works. They make a guard for the 800. It looks good and works.
