We usually meet at Rider's Hill at 9:00am. I'll let you know as things materialize.

No way I can meet up there at 9am. That's a 4 hour (200+ mile) one way trip.

You guys have a blast and ride safe.

Ride this Saturday

Your Bilo buddy told me about your ride this Saturday. My honda 650 buddy and I were headed out but may go Sunday instead. Are you planning on some off road riding? I am on a Dr650 and itching to get in some dirt.

there will be 3 routes planned and if someone wants to suggest something, i thought over breakfast we could see what most people would be in for.

abhulgan has a klr 650, so we aren't into single tracks trails, other than trail 81 & 82 in tellico so no worries for spankin new 950 kool-aid

doulos ~ he sent me an e-mail mentioning you guys, we could hit lots of gravel up in that direction or a few gravel roads in walker county and lookout mtn heading to little river canyon which isn't too technical, but offers more dirt than gravel.

so, franklin state forest is more 4wheeler/small truck trails, usually running in & out, making a good day run up there and we could hit a couple of gravel roads on the way back.

prentice cooper (if it's open) is definitely 4wheeler/small truck trails with the main vein being gravel.

so mainly expect for people to show up and then we'll see what people are in for.

I'd be there if I had not committed to taking my son to the Petit Lemans at Road Atlanta tomorrow. Looks like Prentice Cooper is good to go for tomorrow. The trails are fine on big bikes as long as you stay out of the rocks.

I should have listened to Clint Eastwood's advice before attempting this section.
