Hello Forum this is Francisco Gomez from Venezuela, Sur America, recently I bough a DR 650 because I am Planing a Sur America Trip, now I am testing the bike but unfortunately the Seat is very unconfortable, same as horrible, this week end I triped only 250 Km and my Ass fell very bad.
We would like to know is somebody of the forum has experience in a better seat, I read about "Concept Seats" but we would like to be sure before get it, because in my country there are a Foregeing Currency control and to get Dollars and buy something out side is very complicate.
We would like to heard a goods new from you

Seat Concepts; no other real option, as far as I was concerned, as I wasn't going to spend 400 on a Sargent, and the Corbin weighs a ton... 159 USD, and you will never regret it.

I have and like the Seat Concepts product -- they send the cover & foam, you do the install with a stapler.

But shipping cost might kill you on that, or any US-based product. Could a local upholstery shop make something for you? The biggest benefit would be to simply make the seat wide & flat.

ProCycle is selling their own cover and foam for just a hair less than the Seat Concepts one. I just got it, but haven't fired up the stapler yet so I can't say whether it is good or not. I do have a Seat Concepts cover and foam for another bike and the foam is great. I'd suspect their DR seat would be very good.

I'll see if I can get mine mounted tonight or tomorrow and give a report.

mxbundy is the inmate"s name for seat concepts. You can send him a private message asking for assistance in getting one of his seats. He also has a thread in the vendor section where you could ask for help.
