I wonder who they are going to have run it and lay out the course? It looks like they are cutting D37/Big 6 completely out of the deal.

It was all of the Big6 clubs together. Hundreds of people with tons of knowledge about putting on events like this. It was touch and go all weekend last year. Without the right organization it would be an absolute clusterfuck.

Ok I showed wife the ride reports photos etc etc that I could find from last year... And she's on board I just have to "budget it in" what ever I heard ok so I'm there..... Now can't wait to see what the entry fee is gonna be....sounds like it's gonna be expensive.

Yep, we spent over $1k. Two entries, i think we did 3 nites, wife/kid/me. Only paid ~$65/nite at that hotel up on the hill sorta overlooking the golf course (those rooms later were going for $180!). Sounds expensive but WOW it was such a cool event and the organization was unbelievable (the one guy who bitched and moaned on D37 site(?) about the bike drop-off & pick-up was out of line).
If we can do it again we'd also stay for Sunday nite, it was too rushed Sunday PM to make the boat. Super cool event/vacation. bajaboundmoto screwed with this post 12-05-2011 at 12:09 PM |
