not to advocate for one locale or another, just an FYI: Eagle Creek Overlook is a campgound unto itself - it is cut off from the bigger campground by I-84. Basically, you get the whole hill...

Not far from the Bridge of the Gods

Last time I was out there it was owned/run by some anti social Buddhists.

Gone, gone, gone. Nothing but a receding memory. As Mike stated a Religious group bought the place and locked the outside world out. Seem as tho that they have a history of not being very good at keeping up with the payments but they haven't been tossed out yet. It will absolutely never be Saragosa again...ever... Sad deal! We can thank our County Government for that.

Lots of location suggestions, but no volunteers.

I'm shocked.

I'll do it,,

and totally dedicate myself to the effort.
to start, I'll open a wetfest account at a credit union.(with me as director, of course)
then each willing participant will donate $1000 US into that acct.for site reservation, food, and entertainment.
When we reach a minimum of 150 participants, paid in advance, I will notify everyone of the time and location of the event, and promise that it will be an epic gathering, complete with hot dogs and chili and an old fat drunk guy playing accordian,,(or a tuba,) staged in the wilds of somewhere that has a big clear cut so we can have a great view of what used to be there!
Y'all go ahead,,I'll meet youse up there!
If I'm not there by dark,,(cuz I don't ride after dark), then look for me in,,,

Panama, or Chile.
