Walter

Walter, I just want to say that I am a great admirer of yours. Mainly because of your lifestyle but also because of your attitude and willingness to answer any question
I'm your age and adventure for the weekend is still the best I ever managed to do.
Thanks also to all of you for a wonderful adventure. It's my fauvorite daily reading.

Well, Italy is great for skiing :) Happy holidays Geir ...

If Vikings' part is now out for a week (suposedly, still dont know about the other two ), maybe it might be a good time for Rod to step in with his tale about coming back home ? I wonder if he can fit it into a week

What would a good action story be without a cliffhanger?

Must we wait? There were two other bodies on this ride...

Enjoy the slopes and family time Geir.

OK.
I'm as hooked on the Biking Vikings tale as the rest of the ADV world.... Just checked out the thread for a quick fix before bed ...and appalled to see we'll need to wait a week for the next thrilling instalment.

So, In the absence of Viking-biking-porn we start back towards Moscow from when I met the guys tomorrow.
There'll be an overlap once Geir and the gang come back as my trip took a couple of weeks so you'll need to put up with us trampling over each other occasionally.

A demain.

Rod, not a problem, has been snowing all day here and outside work except xc/alpine skiing is very slow and we need all the entertainment we can get from this RR Thanks ahead of time.

That idea's been around quite a while. Surprised it hasn't seen broader application over the years.

Naturally, the more why's you could list, either way, the better :-)
Greetings Walter and crew and thanks for the phenomenal job - We love it -

I have the same inquiry as mbravo, and since we have a bit of time before Rod gets going and the Vikings return, what do you think about the Sertao as a basic platform for something like what your doing. I say like because I see the type of riding (terrain) you have been riding for the last few months as part of a greater journey that would also include a fair amount of city/road riding.

This been said assuming you properly ''Adventurize" (forks, shocks, rims, gear, etc...) would the Sertao indeed be a good platform, or does some of the electronic bells and whistles that comes with it makes it subject to too much breakage.

Thanks so much
