The black's got some better modes for action footage, one being 1080P/60FPS

Seems the black has better low light quality to. I've not seen any comparisons myself, but I did compare the black to my HD Hero, and the low light quality is a lot better. Of course, the black can shoot 4k and stuff, but I'm more interested in the 1080/60 and the 720/120.

A business owner told me GoPro being very limited how many they release at once. This guy quoted me $339 shipped for Black Edition which is a hell of a price. And NO I can not reveal the shop at this time... Oh and I am waiting for him to get more in so YES I will be buying one.

Anyone experience the "freezing" problems people are complaining of on Amazon? Seems like the new gopro isn't getting such great reviews on there.

I'm not 100% thrilled on the new GP It burns though the batteries pretty fast even without using the WiFi. I thought I had a freezing issue but it seems to be turning itself off due to low battery. Picture is pretty awesome. Crisp, the light control is very good as well as the colors. I set the sound to 70% and it's very realistic.

Some folks mentioned the new software update is supposed to take care of the freezing and the battery issue. I'm waiting to see if that's the case. Appears they pulled a Microsoft, release it and let the customers do the Beta testing.

I havent see any freezing issues yet and I do think the batteries do not last all that long

Now I have second thoughts...think I will wait. Let you all beta test the unit...not like they will stop making cameras.
