Barbacks/bax/risers?
Gotta do something else with the RS before I just sell it!
I'm thinking along the lines of 1" +/- up and 1"+/- back. 1) Any suggestions, comments, or experience? 2) Anybody have an unused pair to part with?

My memory may not be quite correct and I'm sure someone will clarify, but K1, R65LS or K75s bars will provide a more upright position. No added bits and pieces, just a direct swap. I dunno if trimming the ends to fit within the fairing is required.

I have a set of used barbacks/risers from a /5 that I'd be willing to part with, assuming they would fit. I'll have to check and see how much they offset in each direction.

I've already been the K-bike bars route(used to ride a brick) , didn't quite get it.
Thought I'd give risers a try; don't know if they are model specific or not.

There are three OEM Magura bars that have the narrow spacing between the ends. They may not be exactly the same width but these three are narrow. The flattest and therefor the lowest are the RS bars. Next in height are the S bars. And the tallest of the narrow bars are the CS bars. I don't have any exact measurements and I have not done side by side comparisons but I think this info is correct.
I got my R90/6 with a set of CS bars on it 13 years ago. The bike originally had a windshield on it. I quickly put a real fairing on. A Hannigan ST. The fairing came with a pair of ETA bar backs. All this, the CS bars and a set of decent bar backs I still felt I was reaching for the handle bars too much and a long day in the saddle could be hard on the arms. I found a pair of "no name" bar backs but with more height that the ETA units I had. They were also better looking. I've finally got the handle bars where I am comfortable with them. It's really too bad that we have to use this system to mount handle bars because there is a big disadvantage to this. Because of the bar backs taking the gas tank off the bike will not be an easy affair. The bar backs don't only raise the handle bars but they raise and reposition the mounts to where they interfere with removal of the gas tank. If we had bars that came up enough and stretched back far enough the mounts would stay on the top fork clamp where they belong and not interfere with taking the tank off. I still use bar backs because I think comfort when riding is more important to me than a little more time anytime I want to take the gas tank off.

I went with a set of Flanders D-21 wide pullbacks on my 90/6. I had to get a longer clutch cable and slid the controls all the way up to the bend and cut off the excess length (about 1 1/2"). I have a bit of arthritis in my lower back and leaning forward really bothers me sometimes.

ROX makes several kinds, and Wunderlich has 25 and 35mm risers.
