That's a damn shame for Spies. There are nowhere near enough black cats in that picture.
I rekn most Aussies would be howling for a Casey win, but I watched the TV from Sepang, and sat almost stunned at his limited ability to just hobble, let alone walk or ride. Pisn down on the Island, crosswinds blowing a gale, he's tough and strong but not bloody Superman. From memory (dimmed by time and a few too many helmet whacks), it took Mick Doohan a few months and nearly 1/2 dozen races until he was back to making it all a procession again. Casey looks sore, I mean OUCH!!!! sore. My money is on Dani in the wet, or maybe Cal. Go Westy!!!!

Trackside now (2575km ride). Camp set up with Boots crew, signed on walked around, had a yarn with some people.
Wind is blow gail force from the WSW, the sun has been out most of the day, clouding over and cooling down now. Alex Briggs says he's back to Yamaha next year (we all knew that anyway). Interesting people watching, who talks to who, sort of like watching all the wheeling and dealing! You would have to be a part of the circus to know if there was anything to raise an eyebrow over. Lucio Cechenello (?sp) seems to get a huge amount of respect. Anyway nothing that you all don't ready know. Shit load of people here already, I think it's going to be a big weekend. More later... Update, clouds & rain rolling on, big temp drop, the joys of camping at a GP!

When the supers used to run in march years ago (gp too from memory 96 ish) the weather used to be good more often than not but getting up with a sore head and then getting burnt in the sun was terrible so the organisers mover it to the current time of the year so the Aussies could "can on" harder and longer.
