Looks like from FP1 that the front half of the Moto2 group would be mixing it up with about the back third or so (14th and back) of the MotoGP group. Doesn't say much for the CRT bikes eh.

Looks like Stoner just has to turn up, wonder what he's planned to do with the winnings? Their talking a two minute lead at the end of the race, has he dedicated the win to anybody yet?
On a not so cynical note he did look pretty good in practice with the slides. There is still this afternoons quailifing and a looooong race in the morrow, Would be good to see him go out with a win and be gracious about it. With all the talk about the inevitable win I recall a saying something about counting chicken eggs in a bush is worth more before the winners check is spent after all your chickens come home to roost...................or something like that. If Casey doesn't have any issues come race day, then no amount of sacrificing virgins or aligning planets would seem to help the rest of the field.
But the race hasn't been won yet.......

ART CRT bike is now as good as, or better than, the factory Ducatis?
![]() Keep in mind that Hayden and Rossi are both aces around PI. Hayden still holds the track record.

Stoner lands on his feet after a highside, back in the pits 5 minutes later, and out on No2 in less than 10 minutes. Qualifying stopped for rain with 2 minutes to go, but I doubt if anyone could've got anywhere near Stoner.

It can use more fuel in the race, but then horsepower obviously is not the problem for Ducati. You do make a very interesting point. Sure, it is almost a factory Aprilia, but even so ...

That is amazing. I wonder how many people actually believe, that they are able to turn it around next year? They just seem to be getting nowhere with the whole project, even with Rossi&Burgess, so how are they gonna do better without. Ok, so maybe some new magic rider is suddenly gonna appear, and he´ll be as good as Stoner was on the Duc... I would not hold my breath.

Busy day. Nothing to report that you don't already know. Got to have a look over the Paul Bird CRT bike, cool guys on the team, let us take lots of photos, post them after i get home. The local Moto3 wildcard; Linc Gilding (75) is going well for a home grown effort running a modified 125 frame, team have a big thank you to David from motomatters, photos later.
The Ducatis were working better today, but have gone from complete crap to just plain crap. As David says about the handling problems being know, to watching and hearing the bike perform so badly around such a critical part of the track and how the riders have to compensate for the instability is a head scratcher. Hector is a crack up as he cruises around waiting for a tow! I didn't mention what a piece of shit Colins bike was on Friday. However, they must of exercised some demons out it with voodoo dolls, as it performed much better today. Other stuff; Boot hasn't posted because he been drunk/cannot get his ipad to work/couldn't be bothered! The main camp is a seething cess pool of drunken party animals, we're having a good time there each night. If you're not here, you're missing out on a top event... Anyway, shower time, a few quiet beers then bed.... Big day tomorrow. Pete

All I did was answer a few questions for them. Happy to help. Linc is having problems with the spec ECU they use in Moto3, bit of a struggle to get it right, apparently. Good luck to him tomorrow.
