The spiegler lines I got have an extra thick coat to help with wear/tear but that may be something I look into.
I guess you could mount an umbrella on the bar..... The spiral wrap is actually nylon morphed as a .......uhhhmmmm... slinky........ No adhesive, but great friction. You just coil it around the line, and it stays in place......

I primarily put it on as a safety measure, until I know the function of routing...... and as a savior of the brake line. Mine is heavy SS braided with rubber outer as well, but I figure 3 bucks is good insurance, until I figure all is working well......

Put 300 miles.... over half in the dirt, with several full stroke on the front, crazy climbs...... and all held up. I will post a link to the vids a bit later, but had to share the pink oak foliage.......

Notice any wear/tear or excess rubbing on the lines?

After close inspection, I have decided to take off the left 1/2 inch spiral wrap, as after mega dirt, and sand came in there, it started twisting, and had too much Resistance. I will admit to that it got some serious beating for over three hundred miles.... But never the less, it had to go. Also shortened the bottom clamp 8 mm to bring the line.... in uhhmmmmm line.. It does create a small bend at the banjo, but at full stroke, they were off ( top and bottom slider). Other than that even after a few hundred miles in the dirt, some at high speed, no rocks went higher than the skid plate.... Have me rethinking the half fender protecting the radiator...... Hmmmmmmm......

You were thinking about doing a half MX style fender mounted to the triple?

Yes...... And thus making it from scratch. Not really needed in my case, as the panzer case reaches up high...... Almost to the starter...... But just in case...... I'm thinking in that direction.

Ended up re-making the lower brake line bracket. I did not like the cable pinch the straight bracket yielded. So a new quick cast was made....

And with the new 90 deg. bracket....all is again well..... New on the left... Old on the right.

So this other build kind of ties into this build, so why not put the pictures in there...... ehhh... OK.... Front half fender....to catch the gunk.
