Ftwlr 2013
FTWLR 2013. F@$& This Weather Lets Ride. Our Third annual trip is going to be Feb 14 through the 17. We are heading down to Bulcher Tx to the Red River Motorcycle Trail Inc. www.redrivermotorcycletrails.com. This is where the RED BULL LAST MAN STANDING was raced at.
I can haul down 8 motorcycles and can haul 4 people. So far we have, myself, Trl Rdr, and Cliff. We have room for one more in the truck. If more people want to come down, we can have a chase car follow the truck down. Hit the road and make it down to Bulcher in 9 hours. Wake up Friday morning and ride till our asses cant handle it. Go out and eat Friday night. Wake up Saturday and ride some more. Load bikes Saturday night. Head out for home early Sunday moring. Whoever wants to come down and enjoy the warmer weather and some good riding, PM me. Ag Two years ago on big bikes. Tentatively in. I'm graduating in December, we'll see if I can scrape together any cash in the two months between.

That would be great. I am hoping that some of you SD guys can come and join us for this ride. It was a blast two years ago. Last year we went a little earlier and didn't have good luck riding. Hopefully we will have better luck this year.

Ignorance is Bliss, and I'd prefer not to know about this ride. I thought Texas was flat and boring.
15 hours from my house. The kids have Friday off of school. Trying to figure out how to make this work. Where would we be staying at?

We always stay at Turtle Hill lodge, which is owned by a good old boy who owns these cabins and a golf course.
We have plenty of cabins, if we book them early. We are 5 miles from the riding area. Now, if you want, you could camp at the riding area. They have showers and camping there. The deal with the riding area is a couple of us are members. Its not open to the public on Fridays, its open just to members and who they bring. Then its open to the public on the weekends. So on Friday, we usally have the whole place to ourselfs. I will wait and see how many people are wanting to go and call down to Turtle Hill and get cabins reserved. http://www.turtlehilllodge.com/ agspecialties screwed with this post 10-23-2012 at 04:41 PM |

Tuttle Hill Lodge In Muenster, Texas. This country is an interesting place. Leave all the Germans in Minnesota and drive 15 hours to be a place immersed in German Culture.

Nothin new to report yet. Its a couple of months away still. Are there any questions from anyone that is looking to going on this trip??
Sometime in Jan i am going to need to make reservations for our rooms. I will be asking people to tell me for sure if they are going or not. |
