Yeah, the spacer is thicker. The brake caliper bracket is thinner on the later bike.

Change the spacer over when changing the wheels.
I use 950 discs on my 990 off road wheels . On the front I got the disc machined in order to take the abs ring flush. The back ring only requires bolting on. I ordered a full set of 990 disc bolts from Ktm .

Just a thought, if you disable the ABS when riding off road then just use the stock 950 wheels for your off road set, that way you wont have to worry about the ABS since there will be no tone ring on the wheels.

I used to be able to disable the ABS with a washer, finally just got a second set of wheels without the tone ring etc. Then ended up removing the abs completely.
