Need Bike Part from Colombia.

Hi guys, I'm restoring this bike:

It's a 1999 Yamaha RX-S 115, doesn't need a lot of parts, mostly elbow grease...

There is just one thing I'm missing, the seat cover. On my bike it has been sun burnt, it's cracking and will probably break apart soon. I already tried the Yamaha dealership, and eventhough the part is listed in the Yamaha parts lists, they don't sell the part, instead, they just can get me the WHOLE seat, for $300USD... No thanks!

I know that the seat cover was sold by itself in Colombia, so I was wondering if someone here could help me get it. The part number is:

3HB-F470F-40

Any upholstery shop can recover a seat for you, fairly cheaply too.

I'm currenty working in Merida. Going back to Venezuela on November 13th.
I might need to come back to Merida before the end of the year.
I'll look for the original cover in Venezuela when I get back and if I find it, I'll let you know. If I come back to Merida I can send it to you with Estafeta.
Let me know the exact model and year of the bike.

Now, if you REALLY want to restore the bike to it's full potential, you need one of these

No, not Gustavo's bike. It's just a pic I took on the Colombian coast. All the bikes there sport these covers

I thought those tiles looked familiar. Looked like Vito's place and I see an ADV sticker too

Yeah when mine wears own I'm going to do a nice upgrade cover myself

It's a 1999 Yamaha RX-S 115

I found it on Mercadolibre Venezuela:

I posted a question but it wasn't answered.

Those bikes seem to have been abundant in South America.

Those covers are popular here, but mostly scooters, I haven't seen one yet in a motorcycle. You can even get them at the dealership for the Yamaha BWS.

That's funny... Bs. 150 is around USD12... I wish our big bikes' parts where that cheap.

Once I'm back In Vzla I'll let you know, but I'm pretty sure it can be found there cheap.
