That is cool but I'm afraid there's no place to attach it. I'll look tonight when I get home.
I'm more thinking of making some sort of rubber "loop" that some how connects into the frame under my seat, so they could hang behind me on the non-exhaust side of the bike. And that "loop" would be attached to the can by securing the lid on the MSR bottle. The "how to carry extra crap" is definitely where I am in this build. |

I guess there must be quite a difference in the R and F. I had a 150f a few years back and it didn't have much of a kick at all. Very cool that you were able to turn yours into a streetable bike though something like that would be perfect for my step sis. Of course I would have to "test" it first though. lol Sadly they don't sell bikes like that with titles here so I don't think I would ever be able to tag one. Oh well.

I think carrying stuff (except gas) in a backpack is the best. At least makes picking up a bike much easier.

Not even close to the same bike. The R is 50 lbs lighter and is a completely different suspension (upside down forks), is liquid cooled vs air, different motor and braking system. (disk vs drum) The HP output on the R is about 20. The F is about 12. The R hits like a 2 stroke. Wicked little bike. It's a race bike. I've heard of kids crushing guys on 450's with this bike because the power to weight ratio is incredible. My bike with me on board has a better power to weight ratio than my BF's WR just sitting there riderless. I'll gladly let anyone ride mine, so if you're ever in Texas.... |

Yep. They're light weight. My KX is even lighter than your R. I can easily see how they do that. These bikes are not as rugged as the trail bikes like the F. On my KX, there's very little protection for the engine. I added a skid plate, but the the skid plate is a far cry from the thick tube steel that cover the engine on the trail bikes. Also, I think the F has a heavy subframe. Also, these light weight MX racing machines don't come with a kick stand. Light weight comes at some cost.

I like working on them so I don't mind if I break stuff.
I had the "steady eddy, tractor over anything" bike. It was great to learn on (and I'll still never sell it - great to lend out for other ladies to learn to ride!! we need more girls out there!) But I love the feel of this bike and won't go back. Quick, light and nimble.

There's a trail ride during Thanksgiving near Bastrop area. I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of people there. A great place to get your WR broken-in properly. http://www.texasoffroad.net/forum/ub...UPD#Post544876 |

I am going to RRMT Thanksgiving weekend. If you see a green KX 100 and a white Airoh helmet. That would be me.
