It's moments like this when we become aware of our own mortality. Thanks for all your contributions to the Airhead community. You have many friends here.

Just came across this thread and it hurts to read.
Have always appreciated your wise and knowledgeable contributions to ADV and the motorcycling community, Robert. You're one of the lynchpins around here. Goodness on you. |

On a personal level, it still hurts me to remember that liver cancer claimed my dad 21 years ago, so I can appreciate what may lie ahead. My thoughts are with you, Robert.

He has been such a staple of this community. I hope he beats this stuff! I have nothing but glowing things to say about him as does everyone else it seems. He is always ready and ABLE to help with great advice and knowledge. He is a great person and I hope he gets well and comes back soon!

Always tough stuff. First time I had any dealings with Robert I could tell he's one of the good ones!
Lost my wife to cancer a year ago and had a trial with it myself since. Only good thing about it is it helps solidify the notion that life is short, be where you want to be, family and friends are what's important and lots of the other shit just isn't. (important) Hang it there Robert, lots of folks in your corner.

The road eventually comes to an end for all of us. I hope mine is as filled with as many friends and good wishes as wirewrkr's has been.

There are a lot of nice people on these pages and so saying that wirewrkr is the best is something. I have always found his responses kind and friendly while getting to the point at the same time. That is not easy. That is a remarkable person. We're all pulling for you.
