Well, I think we can all agree that it's looking like a fine weekend. I'm going to take one of my non-orange left-leaning bikes out and freshen up the coating of mud on it. I just got back from a little spin on it. Although it's still below freezing here at the house, it's pretty nice when you get out into the sun! Supposed to hit 60 on Monday!

This.

I realize tensions may be high due to individual's situations but nothing's changed - this isn't CS&M. Political BS goes there.

So sad to see the shore so devestated and shattered Sllydog.Thats my 2nd stomping grounds/home away from home kind of deal asbury park ocean grove spring lake.I loved going down there after work in the summer, getting there 4 30 /5pm it was win win all around. The day trippers were leaving, got a space right on main street,3-4 hours of swiiming and boogey boarding, see the sun go down and have the beach almost to yourself.I hope they can get it somewhat back for us for 2013 season.Years ago my folks were gonna buy a house down on LBI at 1st I wish they did but now I can see Im glad they didnt.

Went down to Atlantic City Friday and it looked like nothing happened. I was expecting to see some major damage. There weren't too many people down there though. The city must of had a clean up crew that started the second the hurricane passed.

The power came back on at my parent's house in WV yesterday

Still no phone.
As for you guys without power, hang in there. I've done a few weeks without power before and know how bad it sucks.

Hope they get you back up soon.

yes,

1. That is what insurance is suppossed to help with.
2. We all have chosen to live where we do and hopefully we all know the risks, ie. floods, tornado's earthquacks etc.
3. Now it is time to help each other, it is OUR responsibility not the govenments.

I choose to live where I do, I looked at all aspects, ie flood plains, drainage, winds, snow, etc. access to the things I need etc. Those that choose to stay there will have to realize that this could happen again.
