Great conversations in any regard.

KLR being the Rambler Ambassador of the motorcycle world. Have one me self.

It did look KLR-ish at first glance, admittedly. Golden milk crate joke quite priceless.

Perhaps another would have been "shaken but not stirred"

Hijack

This is a complete hijack attempt, but related kinda!

For ADV bikes in movies lately have y'all seen the new Batman Rises? BMW plays a good role there with multilple GS's, 2 up, kidnapped passenger bank chase seen, was good! And suprised at the bike choice, but they were REALLY shiny, and not disguised at all, friggin advertising in movies?

Heineken anyone? lol

Have every Bond movie (first 16 on VHS of course...) can't wait for Skyfall! Kick ass, and blow up a few Hondas? Win Win!

For a guy as prepared as Bond, he sure isn't prepared for a crash. No ATGATT for 007.

Though, I guess Bond just doesn't crash!

I doubt he had time to gear up. He probably just stole the bike from an unsuspecting local when some baddies showed up.

Id love to have those panniers for my KLR. They look awesome. Though, you know, without the giant dent in the side.

>Thats all I was looking at in the picture.... what things I would love to take off and put on my bike if I found it in a garbage pile... What have I become.

... but what tires they are using?

How about other parts? Are they custom made movie props or aftermarket gear? Can you name the manufacturers?

Ran across this thread as I was watching a Bond DVD, I'm going to the IMAX showing opening night for Skyfall this friday. Pretty jacked up about seeing some dual sport action now . I still find it cool that Bond was chasing down badguys on a 3wheel atv in one of the really old movies.

IIRC, the one movie where Bond rides a bike he didn't just commandeer on the street,(Never say Never) he at least had a helmet and gloves with his tuxedo... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRHhxxc1KEg

The motocrosser who doubled for Craig stated that was the biggest concern of the scene- riding without a helmet (Across Istanbull rooftops!) . I'm guessing he had some armor under the suit, but still. ..

James Bond CRF goes for sale in ebay. The current bid is more than 100,000 £. Looks like it will be most expensive CRF I've ever seen

A little info from MCN: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/Ne...-skyfall-bike/
Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-moto...POS=viewandbid
