Here you go - it's link to all parts for 1200GS: http://www.dmv.com.tw/html/front/bin...ategory=353877.

Again, noted that you may need to add some more wire to fit with the GS, in case you install the socket on the handle bar.

My new-to-me '09, at 18,000 miles, is still using oil (I've studied the oil thread a lot ). I'd been checking the oil level on the side-stand, before riding, and she was always completely full. On a whim last night I read the Owner's Manual (BAN HIM!! ) and I was supposed to be putting Pig on the centerstand, and check the level 5 minutes after a long ride.

I did, and the oil barely touched the bottom of the glass, time to add more.

It sounds like ALL Beemers quit using oil eventually, mine's just a "late bloomer", that's okay.
Had the same thing with my new-to-me 09. Recently though seems to have sorted itself out. Huge guess but only had 9K on it when I bought it and since have put 4K in four months. Thinking it just wanted to be ridden more often before the engine sealed up properly, dunno. In any event leave in a few days for the CDR so glad it seems to have sorted itself out.

Pulled the 12lb 4.5oz can and replaced it with a turn down setup similar to what several inmates have done. Trying to make the left Jesse useful for something other than cooking food while riding. Maybe a few db louder than stock. Put a new Cycle Pump and Cruz Tools B1 kit (which I got for free when I purchased the Cycle Pump) in the bag. Did not really need the tool kit as I have my stock kit which is pretty complete, but could not pass up free.

So, just running the cat with no muffler at all? Nice! Do you have a video you can post of the sound, please?

Melted my left rear turn signal after riding 835 miles in 15 hours straight. This is the downside to having an ADV with a tank that gets 330 miles at time.

I will get one shot tomorrow. Here is CousinDave's video which is where I got the inspiration from. I was amazed how heavy the muffler was. I will shoot a video tomorrow as well as take a few sound readings to see just how much the sound increased. Like I said though, the sound increase is minimal at most. There are a ton of baffles on eBay. I may buy one just to have on hand in case I need to add some back pressure. A few tanks of gas and I should know if anything changed on that front.

Just curious how did that distance melt the turn signal?

That's right where the exhaust hits the stock turn signal pod... That hot exhaust on that plastic part for that long, I can see how it happened...

Yikes! I intend to get out and add to my tiny stack of IBA completed rides using my GSA. I never had to consider this possibility on my RT. Is there a "work-around?" Tailpipe extension? Mandatory muffler lowering? Please share & thanks in advance.

$28 from E-bay.

Who manufactures the horn you used, Jim? We don't have Autozone in Western Canada.
