Remove headlamp frame.

Do not use oven or hot air blower. That glue does not get softer. Use Dremel or similar tool to cut the glass off.

Installed a Leo Vince carbon slip-on (bought from an inmate here). Excellent sound...

Wishing I hadn't covered it tonight so the rain could wash off some of the winter grit-n-salt.

Replaced the crown gear bearing on my 1100GS a couple days ago and just drained the gear lube tonight, after 150 miles, to check for metal shavings, looks good to go.

Thanks I finished the other side today !! I'm happy with the results , I'll keep the factory racks if I ever want to switch to a different bag .
But I've had good luck with the Gobis... this pair served me well on my F8 just couldn't see throwing money at another set of bags when I had a good set on the shelf .

I could do the same thing using only a ball peen hammer and a vise.

But I choose not to.

I built this using nothing but a brick and a sharpened spoon handle. AND it's CARB approved:

Positively envious about your skills. If anything it probably better than the ones you buy. Regret not learning welding skills when I had the chance.
