Throttlemeister and a tool box
I installed Throttlemeister and a tool box on my 2012 GSA. Here are the pics! Both installs were straight forward with no problems.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() FYI: I tried out the Throttlemeister today and loved it! I adjusted it to lock toward the end of the turn range so as not to interfere with the throttle during expansion of the heated grips. It worked perfectly. What a joy it is to remove my hand from the bar during a long trip.

Today I did the vinyl wrap to the side panels of the gas tank as seen on other inmates bikes on here then rode in to work. Was a balmy 30 deg on the way.

Where did you get the wrap from? I've seen another bike with the carbon fiber vinyl wrap and now yours with the black and I'm interested in doing this to my bike.

Also, the colored CF (yes, I agree, an acquired taste) are often not rated for outdoor use. I had a dream of making the tank CF red and other panels CF black or grey. Over the top for some, I am sure ;> |

Pretty easy to do after the first one If you do it, buy a little more than you need in case you need practice.Doug

Is it hard to work with the textured plastic parts? I also was thinking about doing something to the GSA plastic tank, but since it is textured, I am not sure if the vinyl will adhere correctly. Any ideas?

Guys, go to any sign shop or any place of business that wraps vehicles. They will sell you wrap material by the yard. The new wrapable vinyl is fairly easy to install, it is re-positionable and with the aid of a heat gun or hair dryer it is pretty easy to do.
If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, take the panels in and have your local sign shop do it. Here's mine, that I did myself.

After my last big road trip and a week of 600+ mile days, the soles of my feet were numb for 2 months...really strange...never had that happen before in 25 years of riding. So, before this year's trip, I thought I might try something to dampen the vibrations coming through the pegs. I looked everywhere, but BMW doesn't sell anything like this for the GSA. It seemed like my only option was aftermarket pegs. However, someone on the internet said that the peg rubbers on the 2009 Xcountry would fit the GSA. I checked the microfiche, but the 2 bikes don't share common foot pegs. I called the parts guy at MAX, but he had never heard that the bikes shared any parts. I decided to take a risk and bought the peg rubbers anyway...less than $50. The parts came in and they're an exact fit...the rubber has grooves for each of the teeth on the footpegs...the brackets line up just right...and installation took 2 minutes. I still don't know if they'll make a significant difference, but its worth a try.
