Yesterday I finally got around to adding a few new farkles that my better-half got me for Christmas - Touratech hand protector spoilers and headlight anti-glare visor. Changed the oil, replaced the spark plugs, and adjusted the valves with assistance from the JVB maintenance DVD (thanks Jim ). Was going to replace the alternator belt but, once I removed the cover, the belt looked like new so I left it alone.

The windshield is the standard GSA shield. I've added a "Laminar Lip" http://www.laminarlip.com/

It's an improvement, but not perfect yet (still need earplugs for wind noise)

I don't think so. I don't see any more vibration than without it.

New skins on the Pig

Put on a new set of Michelin Anakee 3s yesterday, lets see how they do. Strange looking tread, supposed to be longer lasting than the 2s, 90/10 tire, reviews of off road (fire road, old man trails, etc.) looked good so I pulled the trigger. Besides, they should look good parked at Starbucks!

Just kidding of course, Starbucks coffee is WAAAY too weak!!!

Maybe you could install a checkvavle at the end of your hole. That would prevent the entry of stuff in there and bleed out any fluids.

I did not realise how awkward that sounds when out of context :)

Got my new Rick Mayer seat in the mail. They nailed it! Fits like a glove. Based on the 5 minutes I sat on it in the garage I'm sure I'll be posting my Seargent seat for sale in the Fleamarket very soon.

Motorcycle lift

Hey Jim,

Is that a Harbor Freight MC lift you're using? If so, how do you like it and have you made any changes to it?

Thanks!

A little corrosion repair as well.

Jim

PS I will be posting a pictorial on the servo-ABS flush soon!

HaHa! Sometimes the most expressive comments work out best

Keep up the good work, a little humor just adds to the fun of applying farkles!

Nice, did you have them build it on a Rick Meyer seat pan or send your stock seat in?

Thanks! I sent in my stock seat pan since I had the Sargent to use in the meantime.

Yes it is, and the only change was to add a HF wheel chock!
