You suck.

It is a blast, and a full body workout. Have a ball.

Pictures and a full report or it didn't happen.
I'll be stuck here in semi-winter working.

40 F outside and the A/C is on inside this building?!

I'm bringing my point-n-shoot camera and 2 GoPro Hero cameras (a 3 Black & a 2) I plan to video everything so I can use it as study material for the future. I'll Shirley post a report of some kind...

And as a "mass-for-shut-ins" type of thing, check out my spot messenger link here. I'll be heading out later this afternoon and camping on Jimmy's property.

Gratz on your new spring...

What are you using to mount the ammo boxes? Which rack are you using?

The Anakee 3s are less expensive per set than the Heidenau K60s, but I've had great luck with tread life on my G650X Challenge wearing K60s...

Has anyone ridden the chipseal covered roads in Alaska with the Anakee 3s yet? I'm wondering how they will wear up there...
I'm going to put a new set of K60's on for my Alaska trip this year also. Last year I did the same, did the whole trip and still had thousands of miles left on them after I got home. Plan on the same thing this year'
I rode down to Panama earlier with a set of K60's earlier this year, 11500 miles and again, have a few thousand miles left on them

Looks pretty well prepped! I can't make it up but you motivated me tonight. I changed my oil and filter, hammered out the worst of the dents in my bash plate and gave her a going over checking fasteners, spokes, etc.!

She is ready to hit the trail!

You guys have a great time.

Are you running the stock 17" & 19" rims? That's awesome mileage... If I don't have to change tires on the trip, I'll save a ton of cash...

New pannier graphics to replace the ones that were on my old smashed up ones.

New decals at night.

Also added some leds to the top box for night browsing, and use of my battery in the top box, if it put it on the ground next to the bike, it's just about has enough light to work off. They were some track scraps of LED stripes left over from another project.

I guess I should posted this here, even though I started a thread about getting these ... Sorry if I posted in the wrong thread ...

The box came in and I finally got a chance to get to it ...

Everything came in very well packed and protected ...

Christmas came in early ... WAY early ...

One of the main reasons for getting a topcase was to put away my helmet ...

And it fits perfectly but doesn't leave much room for anything else ...

Very very nice mounting plate ...

Very easy install with a couple of different options in terms of leveling ...

Did not feel"comfortable" mounting it metal against metal and chose to rubber mount it to
minimize vibrations and wear out ...

Added rubber on both sides of the washers ...

Bottom of the case ...

Bottom of the mounting plate ...

Went from this ...

To that ...

So far it is doing exactly what I wanted it to do ...

And having to fight each and everyday to stuff my bike cover back
in it's bag ...

To just putting it in there ... NICE ! ! !

Very well made case, mounting plate and rack for a fraction of the price of the BMW cases ... Nice tight seal and heavy duty. Will definitely get the side cases and rack in the near future ...

Where did you order this?? I didn't get the BMW case since it won't hold a helmet.
