Purchased an Odyssey PC535 battery and built it into my GSA after the OEM Exide was getting some weak after 6 years now.

Replaced the stock ESA Shocks with the new TTX Ohlins. I'm not the fastest wrench in the west, but those things were a wrestling match for one guy.

Was just getting dark when I buttoned her up, so tomorrow morning will be the test run!

Pulled the front Hyper Pro for a trip back to Klause for a rebuild..that required pulling the crash bars, so jumped on the valves..been in excess of 25,000 since they had been done..they were fine. Pulled Uni Filter and gave it a scrubbin..should order the fuel tank boss clamps from the boneyard and install when shock comes back..may pull the Best Rest rack and throw in the flea market today..don't need anymore.

I would love to see a few water cooled GSs's enter AND ALL FINISH the Iron Butt this year. I'm sure BMW would also.

Just finished the fuel line QD upgrade to metal parts.

After a short 200 mile trip for breakfast and back.

Got the shocks back from Ohlins (now they're proper Adventure height), so I installed them, hooked up the Flash2Pass garage door opener and the trigger wire for my LED auxillary lights (they now go to Max with the high beam) and hooked up my Stebel Nautilus Soccer Mom Assaulter (horn).

You'll love scaring the crap out of people while lane splitting with the Stebel horn... Now I understand why the Harley asshats blip their straight piped throttles under overpasses... It's actually fun to watch a soccer mom spit her starbuckets coffee all over the dash...

I had one on my 1200 and did exactly that. Stupid lady on her phone and drinking coffee started to drift over into me.... HOOOOOOOONK!!!!! She literally tossed her coffee.

In the last two days:
- valve adjust
- put on a new Shinko 705 rear (trying this puppy out. $89 delivered, radial, 130 mph rating. Deep tread, more aggressive than Tourance but not as aggressive as a Heidi or TKC, BUT THEY ARE HALF THE PRICE. Got to give them a try though I never go cheap on sneakers. They just look strong!)
- got my rear Ohlins back from a rebuild and installed (feels great!)
- have to do a TB synch tomorrow, ran out of time.

And I rode 250 miles, half in rain.

I added the Touratech locking windshield extension for those 80 mph rides to work. At 6'4" the stock screen put the wind right at eve level and caused a serious neck workout. I'll ride in tomorrow and check it out when the thunder storms and tornados subside!
