What do to around Barcelona, Spain?

Hey guys, i been trying to research something.
I'm going to be in BCN (Barcelona, Esp) for about a month, in which i want to rent a bike for the weekend and explore something good (maybe even a day or two more).
I been to Switzerland, Italy, France (Paris more than anything) and Spain. (not on a bike)
Anyway, i found a place to rent a bike and I'm dying to know what are the things "YOU SHOULD SEE" near BCN.
Has anyone has any advice?
also, good places to eat and good places to stay?

Try the Pyrenean mountains nearby to the north. I would avoid Andorra, but other than that, just criss cross your way from Spain to France for as much time as you have. The minor roads have little traffic and generally good road surfaces.

Hi there, also planning a ride around BCN for a couple of days at the end of the month. As far as tourist sights go the city itself should keep you busy enough, for riding though there is a lot around. Will send you some info from another thread. Cheers C

I picked up the bike yesterday ( a BMW R1200GS 2.012) and i'm off today to the pyranees.
I'll let you guys know how it works.
