You'd think we never rode a wash before

Although this part of the ride wasn't difficult it sure was allot of fun. Multiple lines so there was plenty of opportunity to bust out a move or two and with the soft sand, mostly what you had to worry about was another rider running you over Of course the strategically placed VW sized bolders just added to the fun

Most of us were running trials tires so actual control was left behind with the rocks

Looking back at the vid I can see we're pretty cold dudes. Rider crashes in front of ya, First: try to miss them, Second: try to roost them, Third: nail it and don't loose your spot

It's like no friends on a powder day when you're in Moab....

You look a lil worried at 8:40. I didn't realize how far in front of you guys i was by the end . I look like a dust cloud on the horizon. Go Honda Go!

Now i thought that we thoroughly discussed trail edicate in our After Action Revues down at Ray's.

When a guy in front of you goes down
1) dont run them over, but pull up beside them(just enough that your front tire is ahead of theirs, assuring them that they have just been passed)
2) ask them if they are OK(a head nod or thumbs up is acceptable)
3) try not to roost them in the face as you try to catch up to whoever they were chasing(be it a real person or imagined)
4) then as you ride away, you can start to wonder if it got caught on film.

Shheesh! make us sounds like a pack of trail rabid coyotes with sandy foam at the mouth.

I have a pretty good record of not running over people plenty of opportunity though

Since I like closeup in the vids, I'm frequently right on someone's back wheel, so close I'll blow a turn right along with them, freaks some riders out. It's all in the interests of better video of course

You are onto it Chris! It is soo much better to have a rider to watch in a vid vs just watching the coming trail. Can't wait to get home tonight to see what you boys done in Coal Wash. Anybody miss the turn to Eva and end up lost? We saw that happen once to a hot shot newb.
