Garmin 450 GPS button help
So I have this junky Garmin 450 GPS. I really like it....it keeps me from getting totally freakin lost most of the time.
Problem is the "power" button and the "up" button are coming apart. The plastic covering over the button actually. I have already replaced the screen doodad so I am comfortable working on it. I just can't find any parts for this particular repair. Anybody got any ideas where I can buy replacements. Maybe I got the wrong rep but the Garmin folks say just send it in for our flat rate fee we will fix it. All help and suggestions are appreciated! |

As another inmate found recently, one broken part on a mount can be (and often is, in my experience) replaced with a whole new mount, but there are limits. Just think, for the refurb price, you're getting an essentially new gps.

Thanks for the reply. I don't really mind spending the money if I must. Just thought I would check to see if
there was an option I might be overlooking. This is the one time duck tape and bailing wire are not gonna get the job done for me
