A great ride gents. Thanks for leading the route Monty!

No crashes but I, unbeknownst to you both, did trench someone's yard and well on the return. Yep, I was in back and a flat, sharp left hander that had the water (oil?) that some vehicle had been spilling for a couple of miles.

This sounds a lot worse than it actually was. Puckered the rear brake which slid, stood her up and just started laughing as I rode it straight! It was a giant flat 2+ acre front yard completely level with the road; and with some drainage issues to boot. I did some fresh irrigation troughing to assist the vegetation in the Spring!

Again soon!

I noticed you dropped back at one point Tim, and wondered if something had gone awry! I figured you stopped to gaze longingly at a cow or some other barnyard animal.

Nice ride Monte! One of these days I'll memorize that convoluted route back from Ocoee...as usual I just locked onto the tail of your Tiger and let'er rip.

There, I posted.

It took me a couple of years to figure out the route to Ocoee from East brainerd. The good thing is I now have about 6 different variations of it. Man, there is a bunch of roads in southern Bradley County. I'll go with you guys next time.

looks like you guys had some fun. soon I'll get up there to do a bit of riding with ya'll. I did get out to a bit of single track yesterday, so that was a plus since I'll be off the bike for a few weeks. :( Luckily single track on a big bike keeps you pretty warm!

A bit off topic, but.....

Anyone here involved in emergency management and/or volunteer public safety, specifically fire department or paramedic services?

Or perhaps know someone who is that you can put me in touch with?

I'm beginning to set the stage for relocation down there with you animals and could use some first hand information about moving my licenses and certifications from Maryland to Tennessee.

Howabout meetup time of 11am at the usual spot?

I put a Seat Concepts seat on my XLR. The key is using a pneumatic staple gun. I know SC says it can be done with a manual staple gun, but I didn't have any luck. Its a 10 minute project with the pneumatic. I'll be around Saturday if you wanna use it.

Grant's Auto Trim on Broad in Chattanooga does a great job with stuff like that.
