Doulos can't make it until 2pm.
I'd be up for starting earlier and maybe stopping back by Hardees at 1:30 to 2pm for a lunch break. Then, going back out w/ Doulos.

Let me know your thoughts...

Fire roads are all open over West of and around Suches. Seems like most around Cherokee and Ocoee are mostly closed.

We could start at about 10 or so, meander around Windy Gap/Milma/Tibbs, go meet Doulos, ride up Rocky Creek, then over to Windy Gap/Milma/Tibbs for some more fun, then go home.

And one more place, Wolf Pen Gap in Gilmer county, not the one on 180. The one in Gilmer Co. links Flat Branch Rd with Zion Hill Rd which our weekend cabin is on. From what people have told me it is pretty rough in the unmaintained section and there is also a pretty deep creek crossing.
Hells Hollow is doable on big bikes even when it's wet. Just don't get impatient like my son in law did at the 6:20 mark on this video. The guy out front was on a Triumph Tiger. I cheated and rode the DRZ. Been thru there many times on a KLR with 50/50 tires.

Wolf Pen Gap coming from the Zion Hill Rd. side. No deep creek crossing, but several large mud holes.

Sound good. I'll be there (Hardees) at 10am. We'll swing back by Hardees at 2pm. Forecast temps for Sunday are coming down a little. Hopefully, it will still be a nice day. But, if things drastically deteriorate Saturday night, check this post Sunday morning before pushing off.

Scenic City Rides (Chattanooga)

^^^^^^^^^^
It is supposed to be pretty cold Sunday. The high is only going to be in the low 50s but once we hit the trails we'll get warmed up quickly. My bike will be in the back of the truck. No way I'm riding it up there in that cold weather.

Cool. Thanks for posting both of those. Two short stretches of dirt I've been wanting to check out for a while now. My late grandmother was born in the 1890's in Hells Hollow and I've got lots of exploring to do in the area around our cabin on Zion Hill. Just wish there weren't so many gated FS roads these days.

You guys know I'd be there, but this weekend I'm stuck at home with the kids because the wife has to be at her company's annual conference. Looking forward to the ride report from this one..

Ride Sunday 1-26

Anybody going for a street ride tomorrow? I'm thinking of riding the CBX somewhere for a 2-3 hour ride. I live between Dayton and Pikeville, can meetup anywhere.

There's a chance I might be there at 10:00. White ford truck with blue DR. Been a while since I've been through Chatsworth. Is the Hardees North of 52 on 411? I'm thinking it's almost on the corner of 52 and 411.

Subscribing to this thread. I won't be back in the area until I get out of the military this fall. And I'll definitely be up for weekend trips once I'm back.

Sounds like Monty is in.
I decided to trailer in and will be there at 10am.
Hardee's has a vacant lot that I've used before for parking on the other side of their dumpsters. See you guys at 10.
