Steve - We still need to find out where that trail goes on the other side of the stream on Tibbs/Milna. It's warm now so we don't have the excuse that we might fall in the water and freeze to death.

Don't let her fool ya. Last time the motor seized and nearly blew the gas tank off and ejected her into the next county I think she was out of gas. It rebuilt itself the next time she tried to ride it. It will ride again.

Thanks Trout! How are you at re-building??

J/K!

I haven't really dived into, b/c the GS needed some carb work done, which it is nice and shiny thru both pilot jets, altho ~ it still is running lean. So replacing those next are on the list.

The DR tho ~ I won't have time to really get into it until I get back from Asheville next week. So ~ We'll see. I've misplaced my manual, so I'm getting one maybe from Amazon and will take it a step at a time.

Well, if it proves to be more than just you being out of gas again, let me know. I have a shop full of tools, a mill and lathe, and plenty of time on my hands after July 18th.

I'm gonna have to have a whole new bike

Sooo........... Brings me to ask......

Has anyone heard from Doulos? If I remember correctly he had purchased a DR for his daughter, I was just curious how that turned out.

Sorry about that. You got more miles out of that little motor than most people would. Let the new adventure begin! Good luck with your search.

Yeah, sure. I'll bring the zip line... cause that's about the only way I'd make it across that stream. But, I do wanna know where that road goes...

I had forgotten about it until recently. I need to go back and find out where it goes, but I've got to rebuild the carburetor on the KTM first. Parts are ordered. Should be here soon.
