Looks like another rough day for Matt Fish - 86th on stage provisionally - will probably drop time.
Rod Faggotter was apparently livid about being shuffled back in the starting order, he's still best Aussie overall though. Full results table for Aussies at my website (now includes positions gained), but the overall standings are: RF: 16 BG: 18 WS: 31 TS: 42 SP: 66 MF: 124 (with heavy penalties from that bollocks engine blowup).

Safari addict he was pretty dejected when we spoke to him and was keen to get home to his family ASAP. Not sure how he went getting flights today though.

I wonder if even Cyril would have thought he would be back in second place by the end of stage 9?....... Amazing what the dakar can produce!

I can't believe people were saying it was all over for him.
He is by far the best rider/navigator in the entire field, every year Coma and he seem to have over an hour on the rest of the field by the end, and most years there lead doesn't seem to big buy the half way stage. It's not all going to plan, but he will still shit it in.

Wonder what happened to Grabbo today. He was flying early (up in 11th!) but dropped back to 37th.

The Jincheng is 100% KTM450RR painted red with Jincheng decals
Troy is staying on to the end in Santiago Today Ben had no rear brake hence the slide backwards if Ruben had been let off the leash a week ago he would have been the rally leader by over 1 hour for sure by now, he has made that time, then been held back to follow Rod is hating the dust and the reseeds

5th gear
is Marec D. No.47 still riding without 5th gear or did they fix it?
guess that kind full act of donating his engine is now like having the key to the KTM spare part department. |

It is quite correct. What you probably didn't notice is that when you were making your morning coffee this morning, you accidentally caused a rift between two realities, in this reality Coma and Despres are not rallye gods, but mere privateers, Liefhebber and Snijders are our alien riders... Oh and our Chicken Parmigiana is shit in this reality... I think this might be more accurate in your normal dimension... http://www.trackingdakar.nl/index.ph...verall&stand=V
