525exc clutch question

I have an 07 525exc and it needs a clutch. I was looking on ebay and most of the clutches were for 03-05... I was under the impression that all the RFS bottom ends are the same 400-560 (I know the strokes are differend). Also how long do you guys go on swing arm bearings?

Thanks
Erik

The intermediate discs changed from 1mm to 1.4mm in '06 and the stack won't fit in the pre '06 clutch cover without some hogging out. You need (and want) the '06/'07 clutch.

How manta k's do you have on that clutch?

There a bullet proof clutch in the rfs and will normally last ages.
If you do kill a clutch the greater opinion is to stick with a ktm clutch and not use aftermarket kits in the rfs.

Have you measured your steels and fibers to see what needs replacing?

Hey Erik,

I have some clutch spares if you want to pick through them and measure what's still in spec. They were replaced prematurely before big races.

Text me--you have my number.
