It looks like I'm going to be dropping bike off at Classic Motion in Anchorage tomorrow to ship it home. I'm going to fly to Vancouver Wednesday morning then fly home on Thursday. Hopefully I'll be able to ride up from MS next year, tour AK, then ride back home. I might even convince Thunderhart8 to do it with me.

2 litres of fuel OK. Two gallons too much. I did that ride last year, all be it in late Sept. Never used my spare fuel. If your nearing a gas station with less then half a tank top it off.

Mythical Riders, boy are they movin'. Thru dust, rocks & mud..............they're FUKENGRUVEN!
As I look back through the decades, theres a thought that prevails. We are born without a road map and a choice of many trails...........

I started reading your thread around 10/31 date. Holy crapoly I said...having done your intended route in JUNE!

Very glad to read the underlined part above.

Leave the bike in AK and you'll have an excuse to return and ride some more!!!!

My parents live in Alaska so I have a reason to return every year. I might be moving to Portland, OR soon so I can ride up there more often.
