The one I rode was almost brand new, but had already been biffed,,it bit me too!

and it wasn't 82,,it was more like 86,87, if my 2 brain cells are correct,,the memory part is the first to go ya know!

obviously the dude was special op's, and wanted to keep a low profile, ( silver blends with his "swing arm", and think about that for a min...

I hate to break this to you but, that fender is the same mold as the 1990s KTMs. The rack from the mid-late 90s LC4 models looks almost exactly like what you built and bolts right up. They even come painted...in black or hammertone silver.

Nice job, though. If what you built looks like what a factory would supply, you done well.

No worries, I have a long history of spending hours/days/weeks building shit you can buy for cheap. Like this Dana 44 upper ball joint sleeve tool I made yesterday - you can buy them for $15 or even borrow 'em from Schucks for free - but for the low low price of 1 hour's free labor, I made it myself..!

It's just more gratifying to make shit yourself!
