I like the Shadow RS - but it's like a little girl about to hit puberty. It needs to "grow up". Triple disc brakes. A bigger motor (1300?) a bigger gas tank (4.5 gallons), belt drive? That would make it a nice competitor to the Sportster 1200.

You loosed me at "never have to fix."

OK, I'll start. If they bring the CB1100 to the US, it better have ABS or I'm not buying one.

This is true, however, I don't know anything about the bike except for the look. I love the way it looks but it may be to much bike for me. I rode my brothers old Harley Custom, i think it was a 1250 or something and that was a big bike. I didn't really care about it. Other than that I have only had dirtbikes which i loved.

If this bike doesnt weigh as much as that harley I may be interested. Im looking at a bonneville also so if/when this comes to the US I will be test driving them both.

I'd be fine with BNG on the NC700x.

Not because I don't like the silver, but because they're going to sell so many of them I'd hate to think they'll ALL look alike!

You won't be buying one then. :-) Unless they move production to Thailand.

I think we've just confirmed what we already knew - if they bring out the CB 1100 over here no one would buy one.

+1 But with an electric start, 6sp, 700cc version of my XR650R watercooled motor!

I'm just being facetious. I think a lot of the people who say they want one now will be saying the price is too high later.

I showed one to my 20yr old daughter today. I really expected her to like it - but she didn't. She thinks sport bikes are cool.

Well, she's right...

Ask her again in 30 years!

Since Kawasaki won't let me buy a W800, if Honda brings the CB1100 to this side of the pond
I more than likely will by one, a very nice modern update of a classic bike. That seat has to go
