Wicked Big Doubles No Troubles ( South aussie inmates Pooncarrie ADV))

Lets go for a 2 day ride on some isolated outback roads, it will be fun they said
DAY 1
...Ok so here we are at our usual breakfast stop, the Cookaburra in the town of Burra , two of us left Adelaide and met up with the resident ADV lurker Raff/ralph?.. breakfast finished lets gooo !!!

A couple of hours later we decided to take in some train spotting,

another truck stop another fill up and and even an ice cream

After the train spotting and few more hundred Ks it was time to rest under the orange tree

time to stop mucking about and finish day 1 of our trip, heres some pics of a fantastic section that PBee sprung upon us

Too be continued ..............

Thackaringa Loop

This was one of the highlights for me, what a great bit of track.

The West side of the Darling was dissapointing now they've
rebuilt the road. That wonderful bit of twin track after Bingara is gone forever..

I'll post up my photos in this thread later.

Great Ride Report & pics Stewy, looks like a great ride, will have to get myself out onto one of these longer rides soon, the 690 might not be able to keep up with you blokes on the 990's though.

Cheers, Sol..
