Removing decals

I've got a 2012 990R and want to remove the Orange sticker under the white KTM. I'll try a heat gun but so far the sticker seems a little thicker/different material and doesn't seem like it will easily peel off. Anyone done anything like this?

Can you lift and edge? Is it clear-coated on?

Tried as Ive done on others and they would peel off with slow care. So far this one seems to flake and break from the main part easier. No clearcoat that I can tell.
