Count me as +1 on the Skeene dimmer.

I have an '85 K100 w/Japanese controls so no worries....

And I'm ready to buy a light setup...

Thanks for your feedback
We have the skeene dimmers ordered, Right now it looks like we will offer both dimmer options.
Our current setup for generic plug and play and the skeene for those that don't mind doing a small amount of wiring. Its really pretty easy, with no relays required.

Eventually we will offer the skeene dimmer in plug and play model specific kits.

Do the Skene dimmers work with the Optimus LED lights? I haven't had good luck with dimming my lights and the Skene dimmer looks promising if it works with the Prime Drive lights.

Just to be clear.
Ive been having trouble getting the dimming circuit to work on my bike, I'm leaning towards it being something on my end. Darryl has been nothing short of fantastic in helping me resolve this.

No worries 'Ryder - I'm in the process of adding some 3 wire LED taillights on each side of my license plate so I have a triangle of tail and brake lights at the back and want to do the same up front.

Wiring can be fun when it ain't under the gas tank!

I know that I'll be going there w/the aux light install, but it's definitely worth it to me.

I use Deutsch connectors on the BMW and bullets on my RD 350's when I rewire.

Although I personally really like our adjustable dimmer with the multi function switch, I realize that not everyone thinks the same or likes the same setup.
To that we have been messing around with the Skeene dimmer, with a slight mod we have been able to make the Skeene dimmer work with the Long Range lights.
The Skeene dimmer allows the use of factory handle bar switches even on the GS, gives quite a bit of user control and also eliminates the relay and some wiring.
Our existing dimmer also allows you to use your factory switches on most bikes, it does not on the GS.

The Skeene 175 has a flash mode and cost slightly more.. Is this something that most would find useful?

Should we offer kits as we have been and also offer the Skeene option?

Would to many choices on dimmers confuse the customer?

I appreciate your feedback
What are the advantages/disadvantages of your existing dimmer and the Skeene 175?

Our dimmer is adjustable from 40 to 100% it can be wired into the existing factory switches on any bike that has the low beam drop off when the high Beam is activated. or a rider can use our multi function handle bar switch for complete independent control of your LEDs (my preference) The light kit is plug and play on most bikes.

The cons are it wont work from factory switches on most BMW's, you must use our multi function switch on a bmw. Our dimmer also requires the use of the included relays.

The Skeene
Solid state, uses no relays, not quite as adjustable, but offers several different user controlled step levels,10,20 and 50% You have to choose that at install or use a separate switch (We can supply). Overall more compact than what we currently use.
It can be setup with a flash mode.
User would most likely need to set up the wiring, but that is pretty easy.
We will eventually offer kits that are bike specific.

Skene dimmers

We have added the Skene dimmers to our product line as well as several different switch configurations to go with it.

We feel you should have complete setups and not have to run around looking for switches etc.
You can also select the Skene dimmer with no switch and wire that into your bikes existing switches.
Works well on BMW's

The Long Range Extreme lights are also back in stock! but they wont last long.

Our new site has a review section on every product, We welcome riders to share with others and would appreciate your honest feedback.
Thanks
Darryl

Skene dimmer

Looked at the website. Congratulations looking nice and clean!

However for this Skene dimmer it is mentioned "see diagram below" but I couldn't see a diagram. It looks like the text on your page is a literal copy from SkeneDesign. Perhaps a URL pointing to it would come in handy.

I also expected to find this item under "Switches" but it turns out to be under the section "Batteries". Not sure which section is more appropriate....

One little detail I couldn't find is the size and weight of this dimmer. Couldn't find this info on SkeneDesign either.
Will your multi function switch work like the three way button switch mentioned on SkeneDesigns website?

I know there are three wires coming from the LRs (black, red, yellow). How should these connect to this switch? On the wiring diagram their leds only have two wires.
