Let's see what we can see
Vote in the new poll
http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=839353 Just how many big orange owners by type are on AdvRider? Please keep it as currently own. No need to post any undying loyality comments, best bike you ever owned, how you regret selling the one(s) you had, or that you'll be getting one soon, pictures, war stories, or why you want or don't want one. PS: I'm sure the mods will show the wisdom and flexibility they are widely known for and excuse the inclusion of the non Orange Crush bikes in the poll. As this guy said, "just the facts".

If you didn't notice- it's a multiple choice poll so you can enter more than 1 bike if you're lucky enough to own more than 1.

correction
it is drawn and quartered, not quartered and drawn. once you have been quartered there is not but a stump to draw on.

So many SuperEnduros?
Boy, I'm pretty surprised at the % of SuperEnduros so far. An incredible 16.25%!
Not bad for a bike that has been rumored to be discontinued! Maybe KTM will get smart and continue the model. I hope so just from a parts standpoint. As long as I can keep my '07 running, I'm keeping it! Although I must say I enjoyed the 520 EXC in the slippery mud, wet rocks, and hills of the Berkshire Dual sport. Was nice to be able to pull it out of a mud puddle by myself!

Raw numbers mean nothing. It the model density that we must look at, whether it be a 950/990 A or S, they are still Adventures and must be lumped together for a comparison. By doing that we have 179/37 ratio of adventures to SE, which turns out to be 4.8:1. So for every 5 Adventures, there's a wunderbike SE.......

Oh, they mean something- just a matter of slicing it the way you want .For example- the 950A/S has been on sale since 2003, and the SE only since 2006 (iirc). So maybe a fairer comparison is the 990 A/S. Which is almost 2:1. Or compared to S models of all types 1:1. One thing that I find interesting is that the A to S ratio is reasonably consistent between the 950 and 990. I'm also a little surprised that there only seem to be 8 or less (if anyone has 3) folks who own more than 1 9XX.
