1999 KTM Adventure

I am rebuilding my 1999 Adventure, with a newer big valve motor, FCR, Woody's wheels, etc... and the local place I left the rear shock with (for a simple oil chnge/bump stop replace) has lost my shock! I am at a loss. Several efforts have been made, but they moved locations, and have boxes of customer parts stored in several places. I don't really want to lawyer up over a 13 year old shock, but I can't sell the bike without a shock. Or can I?
...its the best paint scheme that has ever been or ever will be on an Adv...-AussieRob

So tell them you are going to buy a new shock and tell them they are going to reimburse you the cost of the new shock.

Or, buy a new shock and count your losses...
